The engineer came this morning and put another new box on the wall with a filter to make sure my intercom wouldn’t affect the phone or be affected by the phone line going down. I was also given a new modem.
I’m back ! No blog from last week I’m afraid and I’m afraid normal service won’t be resumed until next week. There is over 1500 pieces of post I need to go through to keep me occupied and I need to concentrate on commenting on blogs so people don’t think I’ve stopped caring.

Phew! Connectivity is great when it works.
True dat ! My ISP didn’t seem in any hurry to affect repairs until after the phone was fixed despite also providing that. I’m glad the second engineer seemed to understand my frustration without me having to commit one of the threats made. I didn’t actually have a gallows anyway.

Yay, for the repairs, David. I feel out of sorts too when my technology goes wacky, so I understand the dilemma.
