YAY

The engineer came this morning and put another new box on the wall with a filter to make sure my intercom wouldn’t affect the phone or be affected by the phone line going down. I was also given a new modem.
I’m back ! No blog from last week I’m afraid and I’m afraid normal service won’t be resumed until next week. There is over 1500 pieces of post I need to go through to keep me occupied and I need to concentrate on commenting on blogs so people don’t think I’ve stopped caring.
Nice to see you all again.
Hugs as ever.

  5. Dear David — thanks for updating us. Glad to know you’re on the way back to the blogosphere. No need to reply — I don’t want to add to your chores. Mega hugs! ❤ 🙂

  6. Glad you’re back in the saddle, David. DO NOT REPLY! Just giddyup and enjoy the love. Bises!

  7. The day you stop caring will be the day the devil goes to work on skis – welcome back!

  8. So glad you’re back. When I didn’t see an email with your post, I assumed you were still having Internet problems–but I was a bit worried. I’m glad it was just a technology problem. Hugs!

  9. Now – that is good news!

  10. Excellent, David. I’ll be out of reach for a while, from the end of the week. Still the odd post going out, but don’t worry about commenting. Take it easy and don’t worry. Start afresh and forget about the things that are not time pressing. And say hello to Joey.

  11. Technology is wonderful, when it works.
We’ve missed you, David, glad you’re back, sort of. 😉
    Massive hugs!!! 🙂

  12. David, wonderful to see you back! So hard to deal with computer related tech stuff! Glad it’s being sorted out! Have a happy day! Christine

    • Oh, that’s so kind, thank you so much. All sorted now except for whether I have to pay because the fault was inside the house ( even though it was their equipment). Being back has made my day.

  13. Glad to see you are back in the world of cyberspace!!!!

  14. This is a ‘reply free’ comment to say, welcome back, and don’t feel you have to read my blogs or comment to let me know you care!! Having my own tech problems lately, I’m very sympathetic! xxx

    • I’m sorry to hear you’re suffering on the techie side too. I hope yours are quickly sorted and without all the stress.
I enjoy reading my friends blogs and commenting on them so you all know I’m keeping my eye on you. My friends are important.
I’m so glad to be back.

  25. I will never, ever complain about the amount of mail I get again.

  26. 1,500 messages to reply to. That is going to keep you busy for a while David. Pleased to hear you are back online.

  27. 1500 messages, David??! Oh, you poor fellow!
I hope that at least you can feel a tiny respite from the ‘not so regular routine.’ There’s something refreshing about a little variety.
So happy the technical glitch has been resolved tho.
    xoxo

  28. Yay, for the repairs, David. I feel out of sorts too when my technology goes wacky, so I understand the dilemma.

I saw your face with a “like” on my post today. Thank you! (Yes, we know you care.) You have your hands full with a gazillion followers and lots of comments to address on every post, so I don’t expect commentary. I know how HARD it is to keep up.

However, I recently posted my calamitous encounter with some London bobbies, which you as a Brit may identify with. You may have read it, but if not, here is the link: http://plainandfancygirl.com/2015/07/29/moments-of-extreme-emotion-crazy-in-london/

    Hugs too!

    • Thanks so much Marian.I hated being off the air for so long.
It can be hard to keep up but I do try to comment where my brain thinks of something. I’m heading straight over to see what your problem with the London bobbies was.

  30. I’m glad you’re back, David. I’ve been through a similar situation, so I know how it can be. I’m happy they’ve finally resolved the problem. *Hugs&Kisses* ❤

    • Thanks so much Vashti. I’m amazed at the kind remarks people have made. I didn’t think anyone would notice the absence really. I’m glad your situation is obviously resolved too, it’s no fun anticipating the waiting mail is it?

  31. Oh, the joys of technology! Welcome back with a few hugs.
