Some of you have been kind enough to express an interest in how things are going with my daughter and the bump.
Yvonne went into hospital this morning and was given a section. At 12.20 pm we had a new arrival. I have a granddaughter to spoil and her parents are delighted that they have one of each.
Young Amelie Rose presented herself to the world at a weight she never retain 9lb 3 oz. She looks very much like her brother when he was born so may turn into a rare beauty, hopefully with a temperament to match.

Forgive the extra blogs but for me this is the perfect way to round out the old year and start anew.

I have a Capricorn daughter, born 23rd December which has always had the effect of kicking off our Holiday celebrations early, who became a total delight once the teenage years were survived by both of us 🙂 Happy New Year!!

Congratulations grandpapa-x-two! The timing could not have been more auspicious. But the hugs and love go to Yvonne. C-sections aren’t fun.
