Re-editing (for manuscripts that have already been professionally edited elsewhere) £1.50/$2.50 per 1000 words. Under 20,000 words £30.00/$50.00

Beta reading: under 100,000 words – £25.00/$40.00, 100,000 words and over – negotiable.

I also offer a package for those wishing to self-publish that includes an edit and proofread of author details, biography and book blurb for use on Amazon/Goodreads/Smashwords etc. For those wishing to submit to agents/publishers, I offer a similar service for the synopsis/pitch letter. I charge £3.50 per 1,000 words. For my US clients, this is $5.50, and for Europeans, 4.20 Euros. I can also invoice in the currency of your choice.

Editor, proofreader, book reviewer

I’m a UK qualified journalist (NCTJ, PPITB) with 30 years experience in printing and publishing as an editor, writer, and public relations manager.

My prices start from £100 for novels, less for novellas/short stories.

I offer a free edit of a few chapters to give an idea of the work involved, and will give a fixed price on reading the full book. I edit unpublished manuscripts and re-edit published novels, and also write and edit non-fiction, eg technical and corporate.

For book reviews, I accept submissions for my blog and then add them to goodreads. I take part in personal and commercial book tours, and am an Awesome Indie Authors reviewer.
